This black hardboard optical enclosure is built using precision enclosure panels from Thorlabs to effectively suppress stray light and create a stable, controlled optical environment. It is well suited for laser alignment, imaging systems, optical inspection, and laboratory research applications that require light-shielded and mechanically stable conditions.
The enclosure provides a standard internal height of 300 mm (12") with usable interior dimensions of 600 mm (L) × 400 mm (W) × 300 mm (H). All stated dimensions refer to the clear internal working space.
Constructed with a 20 mm wide rail framework, the design minimizes wasted space on the optical table while maintaining excellent structural rigidity. Its compact footprint helps maximize available workspace without sacrificing stability.
The closable access door features a three-layer board design to effectively prevent light leakage. The door is shipped preassembled for fast and convenient installation.
